Stable version 9.0.5 available

KiCad V9 seems to be plagued by a row of bad luck. V9.0.4 had the grid problem and now in V9.0.5 there is a problem with KiCad crashing during routing Experienced by at leas 6 people from which 5 have reported in the thread above.

I can’t confirm, as I’m still on KiCad V8 but it seems that an early release of KiCad V9.0.6-rc1 is warranted.

KiСAD drops out during tracing

I feel like if the RC had been announced and more people had used it early on, we could have fixed bugs like this that were immediately apparent after the release. I think the root cause is that there is something missing in this flow. By the way, since “September 30th” is already in the past, I feel like the file format probably won’t change in the nightly release, but I’m not sure.
