Unfortunately I do not get from your data what you are expecting from the simulator and what you are getting now.
What is the role of the I/V curve you are showing. I do not understand which nodes from your circuit you have plotted, and what were the simulation conditions.
There has been a problem that KiCAD sometimes sends the diode with wrong polarity to ngspice. The user has to check this carefully.
If you could generate the netlist file (*.sp or *.cir) that KiCAD sends to ngspice and post it here, I may have a look.
