Does anyone have a symbol for a varactor diode (voltage variable capacitor), such as one would use to tune a VCO (voltage controlled oscillator) ? Also models for MV209, 1SV149 varactors ? Will the standard Ngspice diode model model a ‘generic’ varactor ?
P.S. I searched for ‘varactor’ but nothing came up before creating this topic.
The symbol should not be difficult to make, but that will not give you the model.
Got an image of what you want? That is probably the easy part. The model is the hard part.
One idea is to search for “Bordodynov” who put together a lot of models for LTSpice.
