To understand pulse symbol benefit

How to understand and use kicad pulse symbol, of value td, tr, tw, per, so on ?

Is this a simulation question?

Seeing that they’re in the “pspice” or “Simulation SPICE” libraries should give a hint.

especially if try to produce simulated graph of the current by the pulse across a device resistor
