Teardrops in KiCAD?

Hello there,

It seems that some people started working on a teardrop feature for KiCAD in 2010 (http://www.openss7.org/docs/NOTES.pdf or here https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/kicad-users/conversations/topics/8370) and I am wondering if there is anything in KiCAD yet. I was not able to find anything like it.

Here are what Teardrops look like in Altium’s software:

There is also some code that implements this already: http://blog.elphel.com/2015/04/trying-out-kicad/

I need to test adding this to a self-compiled Windows version of KiCAD but I’d rather use the pre-compiled MAC versions as I prefer to not work in a virtual machine.

Does anyone have any insights?
