Track design increasing width

How to design these Tracks in Kicad where we increase the width of the existing track

You mean the teardrop (red) or the rhomboid shaped width change in the track (blue)?

both tear drop and the rhomboid shape

Teardrops:

Rhomboid shaped thickness changes or looks I don’t know about.
Maybe someone else will chime in…

I think you could do it manually by disabling the the auto delete track feature, but seems a lot of work for no real benefit:

Do simply you mean, “How could we make the tracks in this design wider, by hand?”, or do you mean “Is there a way to make them get wider automatically?”… or somehting else?

doing it manually is time consuming any other way to do it

Stop laying track, change the width of the track, and keep on laying.
It won’t look rhomboid though.
If you need rhomboid you have to program it or do it manually.

Question:
Why does it need to look rhomboid?
What is the technical/engineering reason?

Same for teardrops, someone in the community made the effort and implemented them how he needed it.
You can use his code now for your purposes - they won’t have the ‘rhomboid’ touch to them, but will be technically fine.

rhomboid track is just required for heat dissipation and to fill up the empty space

In that case - use a filled copper zone for the same net as the track.
Observe priority settings, if you got several filled zones in the same area.

filled copper zone can be used thanks
