Simulation with Kicad Layout File

Hello Forum,

I want to simulate a kicad layout file. Is it possible to run a simulation with layout same as schematic design. Or any engine available which simulate design layout ???

Nope. No simulation capability for PCBs.

There might be something coming in v7…a year from now

I think what you want is a “field solver”.

Awaiting for Kicad V7 version !!! :grinning:

V7 won’t be ready a year from now, there are plans to implement some kind of field solver integration but it doesn’t mean that it would be in a stable version next summer. Most probably v7 will take a few years from now.
