Setting up simulation parameters for built-in SPICE modes

If using a simple BJT transistor such as BC547 or BC557, there is no simulation parameters set up.
One can change to Built-in SPICE model, and choose corresponding transistor type (BJT NPN, BJT PNP etc).
Any tutorial on how to set up the parameters correctly from the datasheet?
Also, where is the parameters stored if editing them this way after placing the component?

Onsemi has a PSpice model. I would try that. Ngspice has a PSpice compatibility mode:
