Misleading symbol for 74xGxx:74LVC1G3157

I just came into this problem :
This is same as 3157 symbol, pins 1 and 3

the symbol suggest that switch is 1-4 when 6 is low and 3-4 when 6 is high.

according to my experiments (and the datasheet https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/sn74lvc1g3157.pdf) it’s the opposite

Anyway I suggest the multi-unit symbol be change to a box-like one like this

You’re welcome to create your own libraries (with box).
The error has been reported, as your link shows. Errors happen, but are actually very rare.
