How to export KiCAD netlist to Cadence Allegro?

Our outsource is using Cadence Allego to do PCB layout. But engineer is using KiCAD to do schematics design. How to export KiCAD netlist to Cadence Allegro for PCB layout?

According to this find it cannot for the time being.

That was a bit different question, namely about converting the layout. This is about converting the netlist. You can try exporting the netlist (Eeschema->File->Export) in a different format and see if Allegro can open it. It’s also possible that some 3rd party program can convert between netlist formats (it’s easier than converting between schematic or layout formats).

Thanks, Allegro can’t open all formats that KiCAD generates. What’s the 3rd tool we can try?

I don’t know. You have to find a program which reads KiCad schematic or a netlist created by KiCad and can export to a netlist format which Allegro reads. But I don’t know more. Maybe someone else here knows.

If Allegro can read specctra files you can try to import netlist into pcbnew first and export specctra from there.
