how do you edit several pads at once in footprint editor?
Is this even possible?

For things like this people sometimes use scripts since the files are text. You might check that out if you don’t get other options.

#3

Edit only one pad.
Opengl:
-Right click on the modified pad -> Pads->Copy pad settings
-Right click on a NON-modified pad you want to modify ->Pads -> Apply (or Push for several) pad settings

Only available in nightly builds.

Nightly build warning:
These are development builds compiled every night from the current master branch. There is no guarantee that files produced by such builds can be opened by any older version. (including older nightly versions)
These builds can have severe bugs. There is no documentation available for them.

Ooops!

Then in version 4.0.x
Legacy canvas:
-Right click on the modified pad -> Pads->Export pad settings
-Right click on a NON-modified pad you want to modify -> New pad settings (or Global pad settings for multiple pads)
