I am trying to install 5.1.6 on macOS Catalina. I copied of the app bundle ok to Applications folder, but the kicad
folder doesn’t want to copy across to the Applications Support
link in the disk image.
I don’t think I’ve had this issue in the past.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
Thanks, Brendan.

I think I have heard this before. Could you try to make a video of it?
Using the solution here solved it for me.
I am trying to update to V5.1.5 (from V5.1.4) on my Mac, but I am unable to finish the process. In the installation window I need to drag two folders (“KiCad” and “kicad”) to two other folders (“Applications” and “Application Support”)
I have dragged “KiCad” succesfully to “Applications”, but I cannot drag “kicad” to “Application Support”, the dragged folder just jumps back to were it was.
How can I finish the update?
(I’m on macOS Catalina V10.15.3)
i.e. opening the Applications Support
folder and copying into it. Actually opened the Library
folder and copied onto the Applications Support
folder.
