Board edge clearance violation - what it means?

Anyone could explain this error?

You have a line on your edge cuts layer. My guess is the red line.
Do your dimension lines use the top copper layer?

It could be. The project is imported from Eagle so I guess - yes.
Will check asap. Thanks.

I noticed, from another thread, that the PCB has indeed the Top Copper layer as Red.
This means the DRC is complaining because there is a stray top layer copper track on the edge cuts.

To solve the issue, highlight that red line and move the end where the arrow is, more than 6 Mil from the Grey Edge Cuts line and all should be well.

or better, move the dimension to the proper layer (Fab, User, something like that)

In the picture in the first post the error says that the problem is between Line on Edge.Cuts and Dimension on F.Cu.

Thankyou, I hadn’t noticed. I must be going blind as wall as senile.

Yes, even if the “line” is moved, the DRC will probably still complain that things are on the front copper.
I’m not sure because I haven’t tried, and I’m not going to tonight.

Good solution, thanks. Still discovering KC - I’m a long time Eagle lover but now divorced already
