Seems this one has been asked before.
Useful facility is to blanket schematic regions, mainly for netclass assignment. Not a big priority as least for me, but It would be a nice to have. for me it would clean things up in Kicad.

It’s better to simply upvote the feature request. I think the forum discussion will have only a small impact on the development decision.
