Re V6 the zone fill (Gnd plane in this case) is not filling the entire zone. I expect some small clearance but not as much as seen in the image. The zone outline and zone fill are not congruent and I expect them to be. What is going on? I dont see any way to increase the zone fill to be a max. Thanks. Al
Board Setup → Design Rules → Constraints → Copper to edge clearance

I looked at the Copper to edge clearance and it is .1" . For my case the zone edge is .24" from the edge of the board. See image. This is > .1" as set in the DRC constraints value. Something else going on? Thanks Al
But what about the margin? The purpose of the Margin layer is to allow setting zone fill restrictions. I’m not sure it works optimally (IMO it shouldn’t use clearance values at all), but the clearance seems to be calculated from the margin, not from the board edge.
Good point. I was using the margin only for component placement not tracks. I will rethink this. So, problem solved. Thanks again!
Click on the zone. Shift-click on the board edge. Inspect > Clearance Resolution…
