I have drawn a rectangle edges cuts. However, when I try to fill it, the corners appear rounded, and the filled areas don’t form a perfect rectangle. How can I fix this issue?
You can change the “Minimum Width” in the zone properties got get sharper corners. But when PCBs are etched the corners will not be sharp anyways so it is better to have a defined radius you know about than a random radius depending on some arbitrary etching process parameters.
but I am not able to decrease minimum width less than 0.025mm.If I try to do that it is showing a warning message minimum width must be at least 0.025mm
its already zero in my constraints.
What are you even trying to achieve that a 25µm radius is an “issue”?
now that you bring up the scale we’re working at, I honestly never zoomed in that far. Probably all my PCBs have “rounded” pours as well. Heck, most of the time I add intentional rounding.
Are your referring to this Copper to edge clearance here? That should never be zero. Having copper right to the edge of the PCB is a serious production issue that can (and will!) lead to short circuits on your PCB.
For the rest, rounded corners are at least harmless, usually a slight benefit, because the PCB itself can never have absolute sharp corners either, and sometimes (when working with high voltages) they are even mandatory to avoid corona effects.
