Wrl a step models

A problem is appearing for me since I updated to kicad 6, all the 3D models are in WRL, this harms me when generating the .step file of the plate.

The solution is to change .wrl to .step but it is a very heavy work. can someone tell me what happened? or how can i fix it?

I was reviewing the code of the components and I see that the 3D model is a .wrl

I have configured the route that comes by default, this happens in both windows and linux

if I change the extension to .step it works, but imagine doing it to 200 components.
