Working with reference images

I’ve imported two images in pcbnew. Once images are placed, It seems to be impossible to do anything with them.
How do I:

  • move an image,
  • switch which one is in front, or
  • remove an image?

I encountered this with v7.x but upgraded to v9.0.0 and still don’t see a way to do anything with images once they are imported.

What is your OS?
Go to kicad > Help > About Kicad > Copy Version Info. (top RH corner). Paste directly into a post in this thread.

Works for me.
Click on image. When white squares appear at the corners of the image:
LMB hold down on a square for Resize, or Move, Rotate, Delete, Flip, Duplicate, Lock. That is all I tried.

You should not be using that version anymore. KiCad V9.0.3 has been released a few days ago:

and it has many bug fixes. In KiCad, the first version of each mayor release tends to have quite a lot of minor, but irritating bugs, and they get fixed in the first few months, and these bug fixes are indicated with increments in the third number, so this is now the 3rd bug fix update. In total there are probably around 300 bugs fixed since V9.0.0 was first released.
