Kicad 8 will not run or install on windows 11. Everytime i go to run it in compatibility mode for windows 8 it gets snappy at me.
Should work natively, why are you using W8 compatibility mode?

I looked at the requirements and I have the following
Asus
Graphics: UHD Graphics 605
Intel pentitum Silver N5030 CPU 1.10GHZ
4GB ram
Windows 11 Pro.
Install normally in Windows 11.
This is a very low end CPU, I am surprised it is on the Windows 11 compatibility list.
I have KiCad running on a few W11 PCs, no problem.
OpenGL is often an issue with these laptop drivers
What error messages are you seeing?
If it’s not installing how can you run it?
Those CPU/GPU specs are very low for W11. Maybe time for a upgrade.

Got it installed through my laptop nativly and i found that its working buts a bit of a stutter.
We its behaving with my java IED installed on the same laptop with my cad program.
