Why the placed text is duplicated to all the units in a multi-unit symbol?

Hi Sir,

Possibly a simple question but I cannot find a correct way to deal with, please help.

In eeschema symbol editor, I created a multi-unit symbol with 8 units

then I placed a text “JESD” on unit B

check the other units, found the “JESD” text is duplicated on all the other units

there must be a setting to place text separately on each unit, but I just can’t find it, please help, thanks !

You possibility selected “common to all units”. See Tutorial: How to make a symbol (KiCad v5.1.x)
