Why does the coordinate system of PCB editor keep showing odd errors?

I’ve been using it since version 6, but issues related to the coordinate system are still not resolved.

Especially in version 8, the coordinates of one pad in the footprint become strange.

When loading a DXF file or rotating the footprint, some points are off to 0.000001 decimal places.

There is a bug report that has been allocated to one of the Developers to fix this Position problem.

Meantime; use the Properties Panel on the LH side of your screen instead of the Properties Window to see the correct “Position” .

To access Properties Panel: View > Show Properties Manager.
