Why are some pads outlined and others are not?

I’ve noticed that there are times when some of my pads are outlined and ones right next to them are not. It’s not creating any kind of issue. I am just curious if anyone knows why.

First, you can upload images directly by pasting (or dragging) them into the edit window like this:

The thin lines around pads indicate the clearance distance of the net class of that pad. Clearances may overlap with each other, but a clearance may not overlap with copper of another net. You can inluence when they are shown with: PCB Editor / Preferences / Preferences / PCB Editor / Display Options / Clearance Outlines

I also see a thin horizontal line between your pads. I do not know what it means without more context.

Thanks but I actually did drag it into the window and what you see above is what I got. And I know about all the rest. I was just curious as to why they show up on some and next to them there isn’t any. As for the erroneous horiz line that showed up, not sure where it came from. It’s not in my drawing.

A pdf viewer problem? I don’t see any line on my phone.

I see the line when viewing the pdf in Firefox, Xreader, Gimp and Inkscape, but it is very faint so I guess it’s too thin to see on a phone.

No, I can see it in your screenshot even unzoomed but can zoom the pdf so that the grid points are 10 cm apart, yet without that line.
