Which component could replace a LM3940

Hi,

Sorry for the dummy question i super new, i use a LM3940 http://www.ti.com/product/LM3940/datasheet ( Low drop down component to convert my 5 v to 3.3 V but i can’t find it in the list of component which other one should i use ?

Hi! This is a common issue in KiCad, as well as many other schematic capture and layout programs. You could choose a different part that KiCad may have available, but the best course of action would be to simply make a new component.
