Where should Kicad 6.0.2 libraries be found on MacOS 12.2.1

Kicad 6.0.2 when installed, does not know where symbols are on MacOS 12.2.1.

Under Preferences->Manage Symbol Libraries

Path Substitions should be
${KICAD6_SYMBOL_DIR} => /Applications/KiCad/KiCad.app/Contents/SharedSupport/symbols/

With luck that should work…
BTW. I’m not a professional user, just a tinkerer!
