I am a begineer and I have been trying to figure out what this symbol could be ?
Which one? Looks like a test point, a capacitor, a corner from some IC, a label near an open wire end and an “earth” symbol
At some point you will come across the intricacies between “Earth” “Ground” and “protective ground” a.k.a PE.
Also, those letters in the "Reference Designator, a.k.a. “Reference” or “RefDes” are (mostly) standardized. There is a list of these on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reference_designator Most schematics use these same abbreviations and this can give you a hint when it’s unclear what a certain symbol means. For example, the TP3 symbol looks weird, but because it’s TP, it’s probably still a Test Point.
The symbol I need is the TP3
What do you mean with “need”?
When you press a to add a symbol in KiCad’s schematic editor, you can type in something in the search bar. KiCad has several different looking testpoints in it’s default libraries:
If that is not enough, you can modify them to look differently very easily with the symbol editor.
