The Discourse install purposefully suggests that we do not create too many categories from the beginning. However, as this forum starts measuring its lifespan in weeks instead of days, I think it is safe to start seeing some trends. What kinds of categories would make sense too all of you? Are “Schematic” and “Layout” sufficient for now?
If shared libraries and / or github is the majority way community choses. Then i think they will be a good idea.
I don’t think at the moment more categories are required but I would love to see when using the schematic the symbol plus the footprint so you know that the symbol you have chosen is correct and a link to the github symbols and footprints as the list on github is large and confusing for new users.
