Everytime I load Kicad 9 it takes an rediculous amount of time as compared to Kicad 8. I also get the following:
the software seems to run fine so not an issue just asking
Is your project placed in C:/ root? In that case it might be trying to scan the whole C:/ file tree for git repositories.
Or, more likely, do you have a git repository in C:/ root?
KiCad does not create directories in the Windows directory and this is not a suitable place for you to put user directories.
