What Copper to Edge Clearance

As the title asks, what copper to edge clearance is recommended and why?

I ask this because I used OSHPark with KiCad V5 with a Edge.Cuts line with of either 0.001 or 0.002 and the main difference I know I noticed was the price changed with a change in line width.

Is there a line width that you prefer for visibility reasons? Is there a color for the Edge.Cuts that you prefer for visibility reasons?

The center of the line on Edge.Cuts defines the outline of the PCB. The line width has no influence on the outline shape or clearances. The copper to edge clearance is defined in the Design Rules.

Typically the clearance should be 0.2 - 0.3 mm. The purpose is to avoid damaging the copper during the routing process. The internet has plenty of information about the theme.
