Viewports: don't work in "flip board view" mode?

Hi,
I continue trying the new features of V7.0rc2, and I was playing with Viewports.
They work ok, but not when “Flip Board View” is activated: no zoom, no pan.
Is it intended?

Thank you!
David

Where is this “viewport” thing?
Your version info suggests it may be in the footprint editor, but I can’t find it. Neither in the PCB nor in the Footprint editor.

Where is this “viewport” thing?

In the pcb-editor on the right as part of the Appearance-panel. 20 pixel below the layer-preset pulldown.
Also available in the 3D-viewer (top toolbar).

@dhaillant : I confirm that the Flip-mode disables the viewport-feature. I don’t know if it’s intended, but I would guess it’s a bug.

So that explains why I could not find it in any of the menu’s :slight_smile:

And I’m seeing the same behavior, as long as the PCB is flipped, changing the viewport does update the GUI and this smells like a bug to me.

I’m not sure what the expected behavior should be. Should it go to the pan and zoom settings defined in the viewport, or should the “Flip Board View” be a part of the saved viewport, and restored in the preset for each viewport?

Same here in yesterdays nightly on fedora Linux 37, viewports don’t work if board view is flipped.
I don’t see a reason why it should not; I would expect it to work the same whether flipped or not.

Is someone brave enough to make a bug report?

Seems I don’t hit the keys hard enough at times to actually generate all intended characters…
