Vias through different layers

Hello, I would like to have some advice about the following:
I have a 4 layer dessign.
Consultation is if could be problematic some gnd vias crossing a 24vdc power plane.
Should I take some special care with those vias?
Regards

Hi,

vias create a gap according to the clearance settings. So generally there should be no issue dropping vias into a plane (other than maintaining a sufficient, obviously non-zero, remaining width). If the voltage needs a wider gap, increase the plane’s clearance settings.

Just thinking aloud, I use zones as “fat wire” power rails quite frequently across multiple layers on the edge of the board, connecting with vias on the inside edge. In my book, the next best thing to a dedicated “plane” - too many voltages, too few layers… usually they tend to be L- or U- shaped along two (three) edges of the board (avoid a full ring at PCB size as it tends to be problematic at radio frequencies)

Hello, thanks for feedback.
Where can I set the clearance for vias?
