Via Snap to Track

I’m looking for a way to disable the snap to center behavior when placing vias on large tracks. I.e. When I want to place a 1,4mm via on a 3mm track there is no way I can see to place it off center, the mouse always jumps to the center of the track:

Is there a way to move the via to one side? The track easily has enough space for 2 vias side by side.

Try keeping Shift pressed while you move the via. It disables the special snapping points and therefore only the current grid is used for snapping.
