Via is not connected or connected on only one layer 2th

Hello, Im new to Kicad, and Im having troubles with vias.

The issue has plenty topics here in this forum, but nothing seems works for me

Whenever I add zone I always change Clearance to 0.25 and Minimum width to 0.2. I didn’t found (to tell you truth I was not searching for it) if I can somewhere set it as default to not have to edit it each time.

May someone help with an explanation in this use case?

So your “via” only connects to Earth ? so it is not a via . . . it is a pad without a hole. A via takes a signal from one layer to another “via” a hole in the PCB.

Now, I understood. I think I confused it with a mounting hole. The solution for me is to put only a hole where I can pass a screw. How can I configure that?

Use mounting hole footprint and not via.

You are correct. Thank you guys. Thats my first layout. I will mark the Raptors post as the solution, because a mounting hole is not a via.
