V9 Schematic edit CTRL_D bug?

Bug or something odd with my graphics card?

In schematic editor:

  1. Copy some image to the clipboard (I used Windows snipping tool to grab a bit of screen)
  2. Click to select a component
  3. Press CTRL-D to duplicate

The original clipboard image is pasted, not the component

Test with 9.0.1 and report this as a bug if the problem persists.

This was fixed shortly after v9.0 release: Duplicate operation leads to pasting of clipboard image instead of selected or hovered item (#19973) · Issues · KiCad / KiCad Source Code / kicad · GitLab

OK good. It’s not a biggie because I can just use CTRL-C CTRL-V instead.

Maybe time to go to 9.0.1 anyway. I take it the install picks up settings, paths etc?

Yes, it keeps all your stuff untouched, only files under Program Files are replaced.
