V9 reduced paste not correct on bottom layer

I think this is a bug but I want to be sure I’m not missing a setting:

Reducing the solder paste on the top layer correctly works. But as soon as I flip that FP to the bottom layer, pad 2 is no longer is reduced. Gerber file output also has the wrong paste aperture sizes.

Am I missing an override that applies to the bottom paste layer? Below is the same FP just flipped to the bottom layer.

At least use the latest KiCad version (bugfix release).
