Use v7 script to export BOM in v8?

I could finally upgrade to v8 (Debian) aaaand I don’t see how I can use my old BOM script? Is there any way? The new symbol fields table is nice and I like it but my old script output some different files in different formats for different purposes. Is there any way that I still can use it?
