"Use Touchpad to Pan" on OSX in Library Editor

Hey folks, I’m using 4.0.7 on a Macbook Pro. The “Use Touchpad to Pan” option works fine in eeschema’s main screen, but doesn’t work for the library editor (“Part Library Editor”). Is there a different preference for that? I can’t seem to find it.

What I found is that the “Use Touchpad to Pan” takes effect immediately in eeschema, but you have to restart KiCad in order for it to take effect in the library editor. (Yes, that seems pretty weird, but that’s how it worked for me.)
