I’ve noticed that not many official symbols use pin icons (“Graphic Style”) other than the default “Line”. Is there a reason for this? The official style guide doesn’t seem to mention it: https://klc.kicad.org/
I don’t understand. What is a pin icon? Maybe you could illustrate your question with a screenshot?
I take it that you mean the invert circle, triangle for clock etc.
I see plenty of these in the glue logic libraries like 4000, 74XX
Maybe people don’t use these so much on modern ICs, even to indicate active low inputs as young engineers will be less familiar with them.
Not sure at this moment but I think that I found that circle to be ‘too big’ and draw my own circle when designing my LVC1G14 symbol.
