Can’t you simplify it?
E.g.: Kicad > Updates ?

There is probably the right tendency to standardize all parts of KiCad. So if that functionality should be in all its parts it should be located in the same place. Loosing one of main menu main positions in schematic or pcb applications for Updates is not what I would welcome with pleasure.
Specially that I work at PC not connected to Internet so I will get main menu not working position.

I have KiCad in my browser favorites so for me the way is:
KiCad - Download - Windows and I don’t need it be shorter.

But you know: Kicad > Help > About Kicad > https://www.kicad.org > Download > Windows is not this same like yours path.

For some reason the the OP seems not to be able to find the Kicad updates. The OP also seems to not be conversant in English, otherwise there would be some sort of comment.

All I did was give the easiest way to the windows version of the latest update if the OP has Kicad open.
Maybe the OP will use Kicad.org in the future.

I did have a little oddity today, I restarted my installed V8.0.0 rc2 and it suggested there was an update available, when I clicked the link it gave me it took me to a blank webpage. I’ve not been able to get the link to re-appear so can’t reproduce it, perhaps the OP had something similar.

That’s a bug pre-8.0.1.
