Unrouted Net Should Not Be Present

Hello,

I am a new user and the forum won’t let me attach a picture of my issue so I will describe it as best I can. I have an unrouted GND net that should not be present because both end points are connected to the ground plane. Any ideas as to why this is happening is greatly appreciated

Solved. I created a ground plane on the bottom layer (2-layer PCB) with traces also on the bottom layer. The zone fill created an island that was not connected to the main ground plane. I connected to the island to the main ground plane with a 50-mil trace and now all is good.

It is good from DRC point of view. If really “all is good” may depend on many other conditions.
