Unresolved text variable REF

Hello,

After upgrading to KiCAD v. 7 I started getting several “Unresolved text variable”, Footprint text ${REF}. I have tried searching for information about this, but have not been able to find anything. When creating a new footprint, KiCAD automatically adds the ${REF} still, so is this me (likely!), or a bug (not very likely!)?

I have a vague recollection of reading that it changed from ${REF} to ${REFERENCE}. . . but can’t find a post to back that up . . .

Creating a new footprint in V7.0.6 seems to suggest my recollection is correct . . .

I could be wrong though . . .

Yes, it changed… though that was between 5.1 and 6.0 IIRC…
