Unexpected char error in Kicad 9.0 (works in Kicad 8.0)

Hi,
I was getting the unexpected char error when I tried to open a .274x in gerber viewer - in Kicad 9.0.

I tried the same with Kicad 8.0 and it worked flawlessly.

Just wanted to share this information.
