I am a fairly experienced hobby user of KiCAD having created maybe 15 or so PCBs without much difficulty. I am experienced in electronics generally both professionally and as a hobby.
See attached image, I have drawn a white box around the trace in question. The PCB was created in KiCAD V8, I have just installed V9.0.3 in the hope that the problem was a bug in V8, but it persists in this version.
I cannot select the trace by any means I can think of. I have deleted the traces either end of it for the purposes of this screenshot so it stands out. I can route traces to it and they connect as expected. I cannot select it, edit it or delete it. You might note from the screenshot there appears to be something behind it on layer in2.Cu, I cannot select that either. Changing which layer I am working with makes no difference.
Suggestions and help appreciated. Please ask for more information if required.
