Unable to fill-in the body of an imported symbol

Hello

I cannot manage to fill-in the body of a imported symbol from Ultra Librarian (STM32L412KBT6)
I tried to modify the symbol through the symbol editor : selection of the border / right click /Properties/Fill with body background color , then validate with OK, and nothing happens.
I added a rectangle into the concerned symbol, and applied the same scenario and the background of this rectangle became yellow
Is anyone able to assist me ?
Kicad Version : 6.0.5-0 macOS Mojave
I could upload the symbol file and screenshots , but I don’t see how in the current interface
anyway I will do later if necessary , thanks in advance.
Regards

If that symbols is made from separate lines, then there is nothing for KiCad to fill. To be able to fill, it must be of a polyline made of several segments.

Uploading files is easy on this forum. Just drag them into the edit window, or use Cut & Paste.

Hi Paul

You were right, it OK now (the body wasn’t a polygon)
Thank you so much

Kind regards

Paul

I answered a bit quicker , a little precision : in fact the symbol was a polygon made from multiples segments, I have just deleted this polygon and use the tool rectangle to design a new body, then the command " fill with body background color " worked fine .
