Tune Track Length v9.0.1

I can´t get this to work in 9.0.1 I am using.
Got information from ChatGPT how to do it and some Youtube videos but nothing happens when I try.
Made a simple test with to caps and a single track between them.
Also assigned a net name.
Is this a bug in 9.0.1 or what is wrong?

I’m not quite clear on what you are trying to do.
To get started with kicad I suggest you to check official kicad documentation instead IA appliances or videos.

I want to just test this function to get the desired length of a single track. I am developing a Power Amplifier with 10 parallell transistors and want it to have the same length to all of them for better performance.

I managed to get this function to work once now but I cannot reproduce it again.

I start in eeschema and put in 2 resistors this time and select a footprint for both resistors.
Drag a connection between them.
Update PCB and place them on PCB apart from each other.
Press X to drag a wire between them.
Press 7 and try to tune the length of the wire but I can´t select the connection between the resistors.

I have a ratline between the resistors before I press X to connect them with a copper trace.

Yes, exactly what I want to do.

This is the card I am building, from the XLR input and OPA1633 differential amplifier I shall feed 10 buffers on the positive side and 10 on the negative side (mirrored the upper half of the card, not done yet) to get a full balanced amplifier. The lengt of the wire to them should be the same.

Where can I get 9.0.2, I have seen Nightly builds and 9.0.1.250 build?

I worked for me too in my v9.0.1 test build

Make sure the review the setting after you select the tool, right click and the “Length tuning settings …”
