I am building a circuit with an FPGA. I used http://kicad.rohrbacher.net/quicklib.php to generate the schematic part of the FPGA. I have done this before (even with other parts in the same circuit), but for some reason, I can’t connect the FPGA symbol’s pins to anything. The wires just won’t “stick”. I don’t recall having this problem before. Any ideas?
Thank you!
Thanks!
I see what you are saying, and I went to check. Yes, the grid size was different. The part that came from the quicklib site was unnecessarily large (which was my fault in how I set the options) and I probably made some changes in the Eeschema Library Editor. Something about that must have messed it up. I tried to go back to the Library Editor, change the grid size to mach the scematic grid (and make a minor modification to ensure it would update the part completely), and save it. This didn’t seem to help.
So, I went back to the quicklib and remade it from scratch. That seems to have fixed it. It works now.
Thanks for your help!
