Track angle constrain H V 45 degrees seems not to work

I made an LED arrow, I wasnt PCB copper tracks of 30 degrees because… reasons.

Now whether I turn ON or OFF that constrain option it seems not to make a difference.

Either that button is supposed to do something else than I think or it is not working.

If I remember rightly, that button is for graphics only, not tracks. The hotkey “Shift + Space” also only works for graphics.

For tracks, you need to enter Route > Interactive Router Settings and adjust the Mode.

As an edit: All three modes for the router settings can have hotkeys assigned to them if you want quick changes.

If I only have to route a few off-ange tracks I do the following:

  1. draw a straight track without any corners, it connects to only one of the two pads
  2. grad the track end and hit G, then you can freely move the track
  3. let the track snap to the second pad
