Tooltip text inconsistent visiblity

Kicad 7.0 Ubuntu 23.04. with Wayland. (Before issuing a bug) Does any one notice that the tooltip text often is not entirely visible ? The size of it seems to depend on which previous icon the text for was shown. I first thought that some icon did not have a hotkey but then noticed this inconsistent behavior.

…never noticed… until now, and now cannot unsee!
i think that is somewhat dependent from the screen resolution or WM or other unrelated factors.
On my machine the effect is much less evident but still noticeable.
I’m on Ubuntu MATE 22.10

No problem here, and don’t recall ever seeing a problem.
