Hi!
Would appreciate help. Are the following buttons suitable for through-hole soldering or is it for smd soldering?
I’m a little confused because their legs seem a little short…

They are TH soldered buttons. There is a kink in the legs to help snap the legs into the hole and prevent it dropping out before soldering. Also you will note that the leg separation is asymmetrical to prevent them being inserted 90° off.
Thank you! Short and sweet👌
There is a footprint for them in the standard library. The footprint has duplicated 1 and 2 pins (internally connected) so you should use the SPST switch symbol. I use a lot of these in my projects that have a momentary NO push button.
Hi,
kannst Du auf jeden Fall verwenden ! Es sind THT Taster. Also Durchsteckmontage ! Sind von guter Qualität. Ich verwende sie seit einigen Jahren und hatte bis jetzt nur zwei defekte Taster ! Die Anschluss Pins reichen völlig aus.
EDIT: The Google translation :
Hi,
you can definitely use it! They are THT buttons. So push-through installation! Are of good quality. I’ve been using it for a few years and so far I’ve only had two defective buttons! The connection pins are completely sufficient.
Seeing I still have the translator open, JMK
Please use English or add a translation of your original. Even a google translation is OK.
