Thickness of yellow rings in PTH-Pads in KiCad 9

As seen in the discussion from Post-V8 New Features and Development News there is a different appearance of the THT holes and Vias.
My question would be is it possible to change the thickness of the yellow ring, which indicates the plated through hole? (Marked with the green arrows in the picture below)
For me personally it is a little to thin to see it properly so i would like to have it a little thicker. Maybe there is the possibility of setting the with of this yellow ring as a certain percentage of the hole diameter for example?

This is mentioned towards the bottom of this current thread.

If you create a Feature Request on Gitlab (Kicad → Help → Report Help) and mention that request on this forum, those who agree will give your request a “thumbs up” which may add weight to your request.

It’s something we’re considering, yes. Right now the yellow ring is intended to be an approximation of the physical thickness of the hole wall plating. It might be more useful for it to be a non-physical indicator though.

That’s true, a non physical representation for better clarity would definitely be better here. For example, the vias are not shown with the hole in the middle but are completely filled, which I think looks much better.
