Thermal relief connections-DRC thinks there is only one spoke

This is probably a “newbie” question, but I can’t figure it out.

DRC thinks there is only one spoke on pad 3 of U7. But clearly there are two:

What am I misssing?

There is a clearance cutout in the spoke on the left side, and KiCad probably disregards it because it is not fully formed.

There are a few possible solutions I can see.

1. Reduce the zone clearance, so the spoke is fully formed.
2. Draw a track from the pad into the zone (and lock it, so KiCad does not clean it up). I think KiCad does not give this warning when tracks are connected to a pad.
3. Right click on this particular DRC error and disable it.
